Mereka menjadi juara pada pertandingan final di Pondok Indah Golf Course, Jakarta, Kamis 19/12. Amadeus menjadi Best Gross Overall divisi putra dengan mengumpulkan 207 pukulan atau 9 di bawah par. Tahun ini merupakan tahun keempat dia bermain di turnamen bergengsi yang diselenggarakan oleh Perkumpulan Pondok Indah Golf. “Dari hari pertama saya main bagus, jadi kebawa terus sampai hari terakhir. Pukulan saya sedang bagus, termasuk short game dan putting-nya. Rasanya juga percaya diri saja. Pertama kali main di sini tahun 2016, tapi waktu itu saya miss cut. Tahun berikutnya meraih posisi keempat divisi boys kelas B. Tahun lalu permainan saya tidak terlalu baik. Jadi, sekarang ini lah prestasi terbaik saya,” kata Amadeus. Tapi, sejak hari pertama Amadeus sudah memimpin langsung dengan 6 di bawah par. Pegolf asal Singapura, Justin Kuk, menyusul dengan 210 pukulan atau 6 di bawah par. Posisi ketiga ditempati Malcolm Ting Siong Hung dari Malaysia dengan 211 pukulan atau 5 di bawah par. Dua pegolf Indonesia lainnya, Jonathan Xavier Hartono dan Almer Noreen Nurdaffa menempati dua posisi berikutnya. Jonathan mengumpulkan 213 pukulan atau 3 di bawah par dan Almer 215 pukulan atau 1 di bawah par. Amadeus yang baru naik ke kelas dua sekolah menengah atas, saat ini tercatat siswa Hills Golf Academy, Australia. Dia berharap bisa memperkuat tim nasional Indonesia di event internasional, termasuk SEA Games. Tapi, sebelum itu saya juga ingin bisa memperkuat tim nasional Indonesia,” kata Amadeus, putra pertama pasangan Eduard Susanto dan Vera Debora. Di divisi putri, Lydia melenggang di puncak klasemen dengan 217 pukulan atau 1 di atas par. Perbedaan skor dengan pegolf lainnya cukup jauh. Pegolf divisi putri kelas A lainnya, Maisarah Hezri dari Malaysia menyusul dengan 226 atau 10 di atas par. Dua pegolf Singapura, Shayne Lim dan Margaret Leyi Fernandez menempati peringkat ketiga dan keempat dengan 228 atau 12 di atas par dan 229 atau 13 di atas par. “Saya hanya mengikuti arahan kedua orang tua, yaitu tetap fokus dan tenang. Pokoknya saya bermain apa adanya saja. Tapi, walaupun bisa menjadi juara secara pribadi saya belum terlalu puas karena masih bermain over,. Saya harus lebih banyak berlatih lagi” kata Lydia. In the Final round today many of them shot their best rounds of the week! Huge shoutout to Jillian Kuk 76 Jaymie Ng 79, Ethan Lim 77, Hailey Loh75 and Sean Lee 71 for accomplishing that feat??.
